Little Swan – Honey Quilt

Good Morning! It’s Jessica Dayon and today I’d like to share a new quilt that I made using Little Swan by Little Forest Atelier. This collection would be great for a variety of quilts! The prints are adorably cute for a baby quilt but the colors are rich and sophisticated enough to be made for an every day quilt too.

I designed to make the Honey quilt with this pretty fabric.

This quilt is such a fun pattern to make. It’s relatively simple project. The center of the quilt is made with only squares and the design comes to life with color and fabric placement. The quilt is edged with triangles and then framed in a simple border. If you are intimidated to work with triangles, I encourage you to make this pattern. It is a really great beginner triangle pattern and will give you the confidence to make more difficult patterns with triangles.

I quilted this quilt on my BERNINA Q24 with Q-matic using a pantograph called Apricot Moon’s Daisy Doodles.

Thank you for following along with me today! I hope this project inspired you. I love sharing what I’m up to with other makers and also hearing about what you are making too! You can find more of my projects on my blog and on Instagram @jessicadayon
