Summer, sunshine and beautiful fabric, life couldn’t get any better! Hi, it’s Damjana from AppleGreen Cottage, to share sweet little drawstring pouches I sewed with Dani Mogstad’s newest designer fabric collection, Live, Love, Glamp.
With summer right around the corner, it’s good to have a handy and cute small pouch ready, isn’t it? Either for your favorite vacation spot, or simply a few gift pouches ready for little things that make an ordinary day into a special one.
Or you could use it to store cosmetics, or a set of makeup wipes for travel.
The 3-sized pattern gives you different design options. I pieced the front sides, while I chose not to piece the back on this one – I just let this gorgeous Main White floral print shine! I used light, 100% cotton batting for the project, so the pocket feels so heavenly soft!
I loved to play with vintage van and camper prints – this is how I chose to make the smallest of the three pouch pattern size options – how cute is this vintage van!
And I’ve also made matching chapstick holders for us, before we head out to the beach. You can clip them to the pool tote, backpack, or your keys – and you’ll never again need to search for your lip balm:

And I had a blast mixing and matching prints: floral, crochet, leaves, mushrooms, and dual-tone rainbow prints. So cute! And with those pretty blenders, you simply can’t go wrong!
