Meet the Makers Block #3

The Meet the Makers Sew Along is underway and we love seeing the blocks you share on Instagram using #rileyblakedesigns #meetthemakers. This week, we are making Block #3, which is a traditional nested star.

The stunning Meet the Makers quilt is sold as a kit in local and online quilt shops. Each week, we are featuring one block from the quilt, including a VIDEO TUTORIAL that will walk you through the steps to create each block. In this VIDEO, Cindy walks us through the steps to assemble this beautiful block.

To make this block, you will need:

Riley White:

• 16 – 3″ x 5 1/2″ rectangles for large flying geese
• 16 – 3″ squares
• 16 – 3″ x 1 3/4″ rectangles for small flying geese
• 16 – 1 3/4″ squares

Cayenne:

• 4 – 3″ squares

Lipstick:

• 16 – 3″ squares

Petunia:

• 16 – 3″ squares

Sugar Pink:

• 32 – 1 3/4″ squares
