Hello my Quilty friends, it’s Ingrid here from Joe June and Mae .
As some of you already know, I am in love with foundation paper piecing. I love the accuracy and variety it offers.
And designing new patterns for specific fabric series is such an honor
Have you seen this absolute adorable new fabric series designed by Minki Kim for Riley Blake Designs? Meet Misty Morning!
It’s full of Spring/ Summer vibes with bright florals and fresh strawberries.
I was thinking of an assortment of fruit quilt blocks right away.
As much as I am in love with foundation paper piecing, I really like boxes. I love to store things in little cubes, boxes
and containers. Not only makes it sorting my stuff so much easier, it also looks super pretty.
So when I designed these fruity quilt blocks I envisioned square fabric boxes.
These are really easy to sew. They come it so handy in your sewing room for all kinds of storage.
Whether its fabric, tools or notions, these adorable little containers give a pretty home to all your sewing supplies.
Aren’t they the perfect addition to your sewing room?
You will find the full free box pattern and step by step instructions on my blog www.joejuneandmae.com .
The fruits quilt blocks are beginner friendly and offer many possibilities to let your creativity bloom.
