Today, we’re showing off a fun project made here at the Riley Blake design office by the lovely and talented Lacie.
We are all completely smitten with the new Nautical collection by Caskata Studios™. The intricate detail and bold red, white, and blue colors are absolutely breathtaking!
Just take a look at the Octopus print! And those boats! The simple blue and white coloring almost gives it the look of a blueprint. What a beautiful, timeless look for any project!
Lacie used a FREE TUTORIAL from Missouri Star Quilt Co. which teaches how to use a half hexi block to create this lovely herringbone design. Instead of squaring the blocks, she continued braiding until she reached the desired length – about 60″. A link to the half hexi ruler needed can be found in the video description.
Lacie backed her table runner with the Nautical Main White print. Beautiful!
