We have a fun quilt to share with you today featuring fabric from the Old Made collection designed by J. Wecker Frisch.
Our illustrious office manager, Mindy, whipped up this FABulous version of the Floored Quilt (pattern by Wooly Petals found HERE), and we are in LOVE!
Mindy used squares from the Old Made fabric panels, along with coordinating prints from the fabric line. For the background fabric, she used the gorgeous orange from Janet’s new Painter’s Watercolor Swirl Basics (seen HERE).
The effect is visually stunning! It took a bit of extra effort to fussy cut various images from both the Cards fabric panel and the Game Boxes fabric panel, but we think it was totally worth it. This quilt is full of charming illustrations and characters to explore!
Take a look at this curious looking vintage baby drawing. He looks to be sitting on a spool of thread which is floating away into the sky. We love all of the little details here. The image is fussy cut into the surrounding black and orange Snap Dot print. So fun!
For the quilt border, Mindy used the Black Scattered Cards print, which frames the quilt perfectly with more fun characters and artwork.
For the quilt back, Mindy used the Off White Text print and we think it’s the perfect choice for a quilt back because it is loaded with so many fun things to look at.
Here is another look at the whole quilt. What a fun treat it will be to bring this out every year for cozy cuddles on chilly autumn nights.
