Today, I am wrapping up the Pixelated Rose Sew Along, featuring Riley Blake Designs CONFETTI COTTONS, and I hope this got you feeling inspired! This is a FREE PATTERN and very beginner-friendly! It’s amazing what you can make with simple 2.5″ squares! Isn’t she gorgeous! Seriously, when this lovely gets quilted, I might just have to take her everywhere with me.
But why wait? Here she is enjoying a nice relaxing swing while taking in the ocean breeze.
And here she is brazenly showing off to beach goers passing by. Who can blame her?
To finish off the quilt, you’ll want to follow the printout to sew together the blocks for the last two rows. I’ll confess, I left them in a pile just like this for several days because the blocks were so pretty to look at!
Because you know you wanted to see these gorgeous blocks from all angles. Am I right? After you sew the blocks for the last two rows, assemble them into rows the same way you did for the previous rows. Attach these rows to the main quilt body. You will now have an almost finished quilt top.
All that is remaining are the final strips (see the strips on the left of our chart in the above photo). You will need to sew the strips for the left side and the bottom of the quilt, following the PDF printout shown above. Once you have made your strips, simply sew them together into one long vertical and one long horizontal row and attach them to the quilt, following the printout instructions.
And that’s all there is to it! Download the FREE PDF Pattern to get started on your own Pixelated Rose Quilt today! And be sure to check out our amazing selection of CONFETTI COTTONS!
Happy Sewing!
