Want to be organized for the holidays this year? Get ready for your holiday stitching and planning with these cute projects featuring Pixie Noel 2 fabric.

Pixie Noel 2 fabric is darling with fun feature prints and great blenders. The bright vivid green and bold red contrast so beautifully with the soft pinks and blues making this line tons of fun for holiday sewing!

Make your holiday plans with a covered notebook

Mini composition notebooks are my favorite for planning because the fit easily into my purse without being too bulky or heavy. Organize your cooking, gifting and crafting in these darling fabric covered books. You can find the free tutorial on my blog. I typically pick up these notebooks at Walmart, but you can also find them on Amazon.

Keep your holiday stitching neat and tidy

With road trips and days spent by the pool, summer is a great time to get ahead on some holiday stitching. Keep them portable and ready to go with these fun sewing projects. The large zipper pouch is the Extra Tall version of my Nesting Travel Pouch set pattern available in my Etsy shop. It’s a large bag with a handy wrist strap option that makes it great for carrying. I love using laminated cotton, or in this case waxed canvas for the bottom to help keep the bag clean. The other bonus of these materials is that it gives the bag substantial body so it can stand on its own. Up to an 8″ embroidery hoop will fit inside.

The patchwork zipper pouch is another free pattern on my blog. I made this version using 2″ squares to create the front of the pouch. The back and lining fabrics are then cut to 5″ (h) X 6 1/2″ (w). I love using this size of pouch to hold the bobbins of floss I have pulled for my stitching project.

The needle book is a pattern you can download for free when you sign up for my newsletter. If you head over to my blog you will see the sign up form in the side bar. Keep your needles and pins organized as well as your embroidery scissors. The internal felt pages are perfect for holding the extra floss you have cut off your skein.

And it goes without saying that any or all of these projects would make wonderful gifts for your stitchy and quilty friends!

Grab some Pixie Noel 2 fabric and let’s get organized for the holidays! Happy Sewing! Amy
