We are excited to share another fun sneak peek with you today! The much anticipated officially licensed Anne of Green Gables™ collection is coming soon and we can’t wait!
For over 100 years, Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery has been beloved by girls and women of all ages. Anne Shirley, with her spunk, whimsy, and imagination, has inspired generations. The beautiful setting of Prince Edward Island, Canada, has been lovingly portrayed, almost as a character itself. Many who have loved the books can picture the house, the farm, the school, and the surrounding towns and villages as well as they can recall the characters.
Riley Blake Designs is honored to partner with Anne of Green Gables Licensing Authority to translate the stories and passions of Anne Shirley to fabrics, as well as recreating traditional patterns and colors from that time. The lovely purples ranging from a rich eggplant to a soft lavender paired with the gorgeous shades of green create the perfect color palette authentic to Anne’s time. The fabrics boast a variety of stunning florals, along with prints depicting Anne alongside other characters from the books.
Take a closer look at the Main floral. We are completely smitten with the detailed artwork set on a slightly textured background. Beautiful! The Main floral print will be available in Eggplant (shown here), Periwinkle, and Parchment.
The Life print is a favorite of ours, and you can see why. The charming illustrations of Anne, Diana, Matthew and others bring back all the memories of long hours immersed in the books that brought us the life of Anne Shirley. The Life print comes in Parchment (shown here), Lavender, and Sage.
Of course, what would an Anne of Green Gables™ collection be without a Text print? We brought pages from the book directly to fabric, and it looks amazing! The text print comes in Periwinkle (shown here), Basil, and Parchment.
Need a quilt in a jiffy? This fabric line also features a gorgeous 36″ fabric panel that looks like a finished quilt! You can enlarge it by adding more blocks and/or borders, or quilt it up as-is for a fast and fabulous homemade gift idea.
