Are you ready for a sneak peek? Today we’re sharing a preview of For the Love of Nature; the delightful new collection designed by Teresa Kogut.
When asked about the inspiration behind her collection, Teresa said: “I’m a Michigan girl who loves to spend time outdoors. A favorite pastime is going on walks through the woods with my husband and pup, Athena. Our property is surrounded by fields, farmland and wooded areas. We also have many ponds, creeks, a county park and a large river nearby — a perfect invitation for wildlife.
I created a cross stitch sampler in 2020 which was the inspiration for this fabric line. My love of nature shines through with the dark earthy colors of the home, hearts and critters making this line warm and inviting.”
Teresa’s earthy color palette is evident in these rich nature-inspired tones of black, gray, khaki, green, pearl, burgundy and mahogany. Beautiful!

Teresa stole our hearts with this gorgeous large scale Stripe. The Stripe print has the look and feel of a cross stitch sampler with rows of alphabets, trees, animals, hearts, and homes. Beautiful! Stripe will be available in Pearl (seen here).
You know we love a ditzy floral, and we are obsessed with this tiny Flowers print! Simple and sweet, this little floral is perfection! Flowers will be available in Black (seen here), Gray, and Khaki.
The For the Love of Nature collection boasts two stunning fabric panels in Black and Khaki. These panels take the cross stitch sampler theme to a whole new 36″ x WOF large scale level!
Need project ideas? Take a look at this stunning panel quilt which uses the Khaki fabric panel as its focal point, bordered by the Burgundy Check and Pearl Moth prints. The outer border features log cabin corner blocks and the beautiful Stripe print.
The For the Love of Nature quilt will be available as a free pattern on our website, and will also be sold in a charming keepsake box, which includes the pattern and fabric for the quilt top and binding. The boxed quilt kit will be available in November 2021.
