It’s time for another Sneak Peek – where you get a first look at our newest fabric lines BEFORE they reach store shelves! The Grove collection, by Jill Finley, is a bright, fresh fabric line that has us dreaming of spring!
We asked Jill about the inspiration behind her fabric line, and here is what she said: “There is nothing like the smell of citrus — from the blossoming trees to the zest and juice of the fruit — it has a unique freshness. I have family that lives in Arizona, and in December, when we’re cold and covered with snow here in Utah, it’s a delight to receive a box of fresh oranges or limes. When we lived in California, we had a lemon tree in the back yard. It was wonderful! Nowadays, I mostly enjoy a grapefruit, orange, lemon or lime from the grocery store. But you just can’t beat the freshness of a citrus grove in bloom! I hope you enjoy this fresh fabric collection!
The citrus theme is strong in this line with a delightfully zesty color palette of green, pink, yellow, orange, and charcoal.
Take a closer look at the Main floral print. The large scale blossoms are simply gorgeous set against the deep charcoal backdrop. The Main print will be available in Charcoal, Grapefruit and Cloud.
We are in love with the sweet Blossoms print! The print gives off a slightly retro vibe that we are drawn to. The Blossom print comes in Lemonade, Grapefruit, and Charcoal.
Of course, we had to highlight a favorite of this collection – the Slices print! Oh, the many projects we want to create with this fabric! This fun Multi print has adorable lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit slices….yum! The Slices print is also available in Lemonade, Grapefruit, Orange, and Limeade.
We love fabric panels, and this 24″ x WOF fabric panel is the perfect base for a table runner, wall hanging or quilt! Incorporate it as-is into your project, or cut it apart and fussy cute the different design elements into your quilt blocks. The options are limitless!
