It’s time for another Sneak Peek – where you get a first look at our newest fabric lines BEFORE they reach store shelves! The Mod Meow collection, by Amanda Niederhauser, is a fun, retro-inspired collection you don’t want to miss!
Amanda says, “I love everything Mid-Century Modern! Art, furniture, clothing, cars, you name it! I would love to step back in time to this period of history. Mod Meow takes elements of this era and adds a touch of whimsy and feline to create a fabric line that is appealing to quilters today.”
The Mid-Century Modern color palette of gold, teal, aqua, olive, blush and cream certainly does take you back to pink tiled bathrooms and matching olive colored appliances. So fun!
The adorable Main print features little black cats, plants, and totally cool mod shelves. You’ll also notice the fun Mid-Century style stars scattered throughout. Cute! The Main print will be available in Coral, Cottage, and Cream.
The Border Print (shown here in Cottage) features the same cats in a larger scale lazily perched on Mid-Century Modern shelves and a tonal diamond/star background. The cat border runs along each selvedge edge. The Border Print also comes in Blush and Cream.
We are all totally smitten with the Plaid (shown here in Teal). The simple hand drawn lines criss-crossing over tiny stars is just perfect for incorporating into quilts, bags and so much more! Plaid comes in Teal, Blush, and Cream.
Take a look at the Cat Panel – so cool! The 36″ panel is actually two 18″ wide panels. Cut them up and turn them into a totally fab table runner, or fussy cut the cats into your quilts and other projects. The options are endless here.
We can’t wait to start creating with these fabrics! We’re dreaming up quilts, table runners, bags, aprons, skirts, and so much more! What will you make with Mod Meow?
