Today’s stop on our Stardust Project Tour takes us to JOE, JUNE & MAE, where Ingrid is sharing her completely breathtaking Mindfulness Quilt, featuring fabric from the Stardust collection designed by Beverly McCullough.
Wow! We can’t stop staring at this beauty! We are in love with the yummy colors, the various motifs in each quilt block, and that Buddha! So fun!
Take a look at the Buddha face. You can see all of the paper piecing that was needed to achieve it, and it looks amazing. The peacock Scallops background seems like the perfect backdrop to create the cool, fresh look of this block.
On her blog, Ingrid explains the meaning behind each motif featured in the border blocks. It was fun to learn more about these inspiring symbols. We are loving Ingrid’s quilting shown here! Notice how the design changes from block to block, and border to border. So fun!
