Welcome to our 2015 Spring Quilt Market Blog Tour! Our first stop is with Jo Packham of Where Women Cook. Scheduled to arrive in August, Jo’s brand new collection, “Ooh La La Fresh & French” features culinary motifs and pre-printed apron panels with a definitive classic french flair.
We asked Jo about the inspiration behind her collection. She told us, “As Editor-in-Chief of Where Women Cook, I believe that food is our new frontier. Other than technology, food is the fastest growing market today. I believe the foodies can share much with the quilters, the fabric lovers and the DIY’ers. A new line of fabric for easy and end-use items that are kitchen perfect is an avenue that can put us all on the same journey moving in the same direction. Simply put: “They” need to introduce us to and teach us all that they know and “we” need to introduce them to and teach them all that we know.”
