It’s time for the third block of the #RBDblockchallenge! We are excited to share the Autumn Leaf Block, designed by Kristy Lea of Quiet Play!

Block 3 – Autumn Leaf by Kristy Lea

I’ve been on a bit of a garden/nature theme of late, and leaf blocks are one of my favourites. So this little Autumnal leaf felt like the perfect pattern to share for the RBD Block Challenge. While my patterns are usually all about foundation piecing, this one is traditionally pieced and makes for a fun sew. It works perfectly in two prints as shown here – or mix and match fabrics and colours to really make this block your own.
