Today’s stop on our Make it Modern Project Tour takes us to HOLLY CLARKE DESIGN, where Holly is sharing her stunning Folk Festival Quilt featuring Riley Blake Designs Confetti Cottons.
Holly has fond memories of attending and volunteering at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, and after it had to be cancelled for the second year in a row, she was inspired to design this quilt which reflects her fond memories associated with the event. We seriously love everything about this! The play on circles, the bold colors and modern yet folksy design. It’s all absolutely brilliant!
Each block in her quilt features intersecting circles. At each intersection, Holly used a new Confetti Cotton color, which ends up creating these lovely flower motifs.
