The Vina’s Star quilt was an incredibly fun pattern to make, a modern take on the classic Lone Star design. I created a version using all Confetti Cotton solids. The colors I chose were intentional to make it appear as though light was radiating from the center of the star.
The Confetti Cotton solids colors used in this version are: Le Creme, Beehive, Daisy, Butterscotch, Songbird, Scrubs, Riley Teal, and Jade. On the back of the quilt is a Blossom Wide Back fabric called Cream on Cream.
Photographing quilts with murals painted by local artists in Salt Lake City can be really beautiful, especially when the colors of the mural play so well with the colors of the quilt.
Want to make your own version of this quilt pattern? The pattern is available on The Cloth Parcel’s website for purchase called ‘Vina’s Star Quilt’.
