Hi Makers! It’s Lisa Jo of Neverlandstitches back with a new quilt pattern called Playground. I used Mer-Mazing by the RBD Designers to create this fun of the quilt.
Mer-Mazing is perfect for the little or big sea lovers in your life. The collection is full of bubbles, seashells, scales, sea creatures of all kinds, and did I mention mermaids? The color pallette is beautiful and you can selection prints in colors to suit anyone. There are pints in lilac, white, blue, green, and pink. I used a little bit of everything to make this fun quilt for a little one to snuggle at naptime at daycare.
Playground is a wonderful pattern coming soon to my Etsy shop (link below) full of hourglasses and nine-patches.
I quilted the Playground using a panto called Starfish to match to darling little starfish scatted throughout the various prints. Some Rose Sparkler on the back and multi scale stripes print makes for the perfect binding choice to tie it all together. I hope someone actually takes a nap and isn’t to busy telling her besties stories about the sea creatures.
