We are excited to share another fun sneak peek with you today! Lori Holt’s much anticipated Flea Market collection is coming soon and we can’t wait!
Lori has been an avid thrifter, antique shop browser and flea market shopper for many years, and she has created these prints within that style for you! She enjoys collecting and also refurbishing old items for a new purpose. Lori loves the beauty and classic style of all things vintage, such as furniture and other household items — especially old quilts, mixing bowls, vases, flower pots, linens, chairs, etc. Lori was taught this saying by both of her grandmothers, “Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do or do without,” and she has tried to live by those words.
We are loving the vintage-inspired color palette of this fabric line. Ranging from aqua to golden yellow, this collection has all the charm you would expect in a fabric line called “Flea Market.”
Here is a closer look at the Songbird Roses print. The stylized florals take your mind back to the cozy vintage linens of yesteryear.. This print also comes in “Frosting” pink.
The Bookkeeping print is a fabulous low-volume addition to this fabric collection. IT features price tags, receipts, and ledgers — all the ways records were kept before technology.
Of course, we had to share of favorite little ditzy floral — this Yellow Daisy print! Seriously so sweet! The Daisy print also comes in Lipstick pink. Fun!
We love a good cheater print, and this one takes the cake! The hexagon and star blocks look as if they took hours upon hours of hand piecing. All you need here is to add batting and a quilt back, and you have a fabulous and super quick homemade gift! Or take it one step further by adding borders — the options are endless!
The Flea Market collection also features two Appliqué Panels in Yellow (shown above) and Neutral. These blocks can be fussy cut into quilts, pillows, table runners and more, and they will look as if they have been meticulously hand appliquéd.
