When asked about the inspiration for this fabric collection, Tara said, “For me, Christmas has always been a time of gathering, celebrations, and silliness. Coming from a family that scattered to the corners of the United States, Christmas is often the event that brings us all physically together, which makes it that much more special. The gnomes are like a family: we all have the uncle who can’t untagle the lights or the cousin who wants to figure out what’s in the wrapped packages, unable to wait until Christmas morning. The mom or aunt who needs her coffee to keep up with the holiday happenings and the person who just wants to eat the cookies and drink Santa’s milk. May these little gnomes feel like familiar friends to you and bring some fun and whimsy to your Christmas!”
Tara’s red, parchment, green and black color palette is cheerful and festive, and has all of the traditional holiday feels we love.
