It’s time for another Sneak Peek – where you get a first look at our newest fabric lines BEFORE they reach store shelves! Rachel Erickson, of Citrus & Mint Designs, has done it again with this gorgeous new fabric collection, New Dawn.
Let your eyes take in those colors for just a moment……ahhhh! Aren’t they lovely? New Dawn boasts a fresh palette of fuchsia, pink, green, mint, coral, and cream.
When asked about New Dawn, designer, Rachel Erickson says, “New Dawn is a collection dedicated to my mom. Not only is she an excellent seamstress, but she is a magnificent garden (a skill I did not inherit). Growing up we had a beautiful garden. I particularly loved the roses and the little strawberries that grew outside my room. If you look closely, you can find our garden friends, including Wolfie, the fuzzy spider who claimed one of the planters as his own. Whether you have a green thumb like my mom, or a black thumb like me — these roses will always bloom.”
Take a look at the Hot Pink Main Floral print. Rachel’s interpretation of her mother’s flower garden is both modern and timeless. The bright colors are full of hope and cheer.
Who can resist these itty bitty strawberries? The tiny pink and white berries on a soft mint background are both dreamy and delicious-looking, don’t you agree?
One of our favorites is the “Stitch” print — this one in Green. Such a fun, modern take on a classic rose motif!
