Hi Makers! It’s Lisa Jo of Neverlandstiches and I am excited to share with you a quilt I made using the new collection, Sweet Picnic designed by Natalia Juan Abello.
Sweet Picnic is reminiscent of of English countryside picnic. It has wonderful color palette of berry, lilac, poppy, daffodil, blush, and sky. The prints include florals, a bicycle ride, gingham, butterflies, daisies, and cherries.
I selected the berry, blush, sky and lilac prints to use in my quilt, Patio.
The blush cherries and sky gingham were so yummy to use as boarders. The main prints in berry and lilac were perfect for the large quarter square triangle in this quilt.
The pattern for patio is available in my Etsy shop, NeverlandstitchesLJ. It may look tricky, but it is a really fun quilt to make. I named the quilt Patio as it reminds me of some fancy patio blocks.
I had to get my signature “quilt on the bench” picture while I still have the bench. As you can see the Bee Backings & Borders Chick Aqua was just a perfect compliment to this collection.

Until next time…I hope you always find something around you that inspires your creativity…
