Hello! it’s Jamie from Sew Brainy Designs back with WEEK 4 of the the Support Group Quilt Along! I’m sewing along with my friends over at The Fat Quarter Shop to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month all October!
The event features the adorable Support Group Quilt Pattern by Riley Blake Designer Lori Holt whose mom survived breast cancer. In case you missed the announcement post, you can read it HERE.
For my quilt, I’m using these 12 brights from the Riley Blake basics line Blossom by Christopher Thompson! They are Fuchsia, Wisteria, Raspberry, Apricot Blush, Cayenne, Orange, Honey, Emerald City, Green Smoothie, Peacock, Medium Blue, and Denim.
Here were my bright and happy WEEK #1, WEEK #2, and WEEK #3 blocks!
Now for this week’s blocks! These are the three BRA BLOCK #4 designs that will go on the third row. We’re back to two colors per bra! This is the green smoothie with Fuchia accents.
This is the cayenne bra with the peacock trim.
And this is the emerald city bra with the honey trim.
They’re so bright and happy!
I’m not normally a big fan of red colors, but I love the red/aqua combo!
Here are all 16 blocks together! They’re all done and they look amazing!
I’m also doing a special little project with the new Strength in Pink line from RBD! You can read more about the fabric HERE.
And here is my bra block #4! I love the ribbon trim.
I had fun fussy cutting this one! Look at the little ribbon in the center!
